Fast Temperature Programmers
VICI single channel and multichannel fast temperature programmers (FTPs) are designed for precise temperature programming with rapid heating and cooling
of a low mass nickel-wire-wrapped column.
Speed, compact size, and low power requirement make these units an ideal component in fast, portable GCs, but they can be easily employed on any GC
The multichannel version facilitates temperature programming of additional
devices, such as transfer lines and inlets.
Fast GC columns
Most discussions on Fast GC columns focus on optimizing physical parameters such as length, ID, phase, film thickness, etc.
Those factors are important, but the shortest run times cannot be
achieved without the ramp rates attained by resistively heating the column.
We offer two options, which can be applied to the column of your choice.

These compact units feature column, fan, transfer lines, sensors,
and connections all in one unit.
Choose from a wide selection of column types, sizes, and phases,
with several fan options.
Operates to 1500 bar (22,000 psi)
- Includes everything but the detector
- 360 micron fittings and tubing throughout for higher efficiency
- Flow rates down to 10 nl/minute for low mobile phase consumption
- Sample volume as low as 5 nl
- Eliminates transfer lines to detector
The integrated nanopump/injector comprises an entire chromatographic system in a small footprint weighing a few pounds.
With true nanoscale 360 µm fittings and extremely low flow rates,
this system provides split-free injections as close to the detector as possible.
The 360 µm fittings allow use of higher efficiency columns, packed
with smaller particles for an orders-of-magnitude increase in
theoretical plate height.
The nanopump can be employed in a variety of pump configurations isocratic or gradient €“ with optional integrated injector and selector valves. Each pump features integral pressure transducers, which monitor and adjust for the differing compressibility of the two solvents in gradient systems.
